Welcome!

Hi there! My name is Kelly. I'm a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 14 now! I've lived all over the country and even in Hawaii. Right now, I'm currently in Southeast Missouri. Throughout my adult life, I've wanted to find a forum of some sort that encourages other Christian women. I've found wonderful craft blogs, weight loss sites, motherhood sites, book clubs, etc. So I am going to try my hand at a blog that contains a little bit of everything. Grab a cup of coffee and let's chat!!

Autumn in Michigan

I was born and raised in Michigan, and although I have lived all over the country, there isn't a fall season that I have found that I love the most but the ones in Michigan.  The reds and oranges, yellows and browns are so vibrant.  I'm sure there are other places who have equally stunning autumn colors, I just haven't seen it yet!

The underside of an autumn leaf
This was taken in the park at the end of my sister's street.
This one was taken at a rest stop on one of my visits to my best friend, Davonna, over at http://chroniclesofnani.blogspot.com/
Michigan apples, nothing like them fresh off the tree!

Maybe it's just because Michigan will always be home to me so that these colors are ingrained in my genetic code!  Or maybe it's because I love these colors and MISS my home state so much?  I can't define it...but then again, should I even try?

Beautiful! I do miss the Fall season. Living in a desert country, at least this one, thinks look pretty much the same all year round. Can be rather depressing times ... like how folks feel in England where it rains all the time. It's nice to see a change. My aunt and cousins live in Grand Haven/Spring Lake, Michigan. The boys and I usually head there when we visit the States during the summer. Hope you have a great day! Tammy

I remember that tree...and that rest area! :D

I'm not that far a3way from home, but I'll still go home for a cider mill and fall colors visit whenever I can.
